Eerste olieverfschilderijen in grotten bij Bamiyan gevonden

In ruïnes in de Bamiyan Vallei in Afghanistan zijn de oudst bekende olieverfschilderingen in de wereld gevonden. Ze dateren uit het late deel van de zevende eeuw. Dit leek me een leuke aanleiding om een stukje over te schrijven op het Afghanistan onderdeel.
